Day 312

It was another simple Sunday. I played WoW, I Puddled, I Frenched and that was it. It wasn’t the greatest Sunday but it sure wasn’t the worst.

In today’s Adventures of Arthur Puddles we find him eating pizza with his Grandma Dot for National Pizza Day. This was a nice surprise for Arthur. Pizza is his favourite.

I hope you’re having a ‘fantastisk’ weekend! Eat, drink and be merry.

Day 63

It’s so hard getting out of bed in winter. It was another late rise for me, getting up a couple of minutes before hubby left for work. Soon as he went, I worked out. A good, warming workout.

The day wasn’t filled with much. I did my French lessons for 30 minutes. I have finished learning ‘greetings’ and started on another basics set. I think I’m going to stop learning new things for a couple of days and practice the basics and greetings I have already learned. Some of the greetings still confuse me.

I also tried my hand at the purl stitch. I watched this video from Purllinknitting and I think I understand how to do it. Although, it really doesn’t look or feel like it on the knitting needle. I think I may be pulling it all too tight because I’m having a lot of trouble picking up the loop.

I had a really wonderful lunch experience today. There was a leftover pizza base from the weekend and I decided to make a quick little pizza. I used sun-dried tomato pesto, baby spinach, red onion and pizza cheese. Nothing too fancy but yummy.

While I was eating, I had some capsicum and onions roasting in the oven for the sauce for dinner. The smell was intense and amazing. It was the perfect thing to compliment the pizza. It made it taste even more yummy.

Overall I feel disappointed with my day even though I did get some things done. Being disciplined is much harder when you’re tired and cold. I really need to work out how to sleep better.

Here’s Day 30 of the writing challenge. If you’d like to see the full challenge details, click here. All 30 days will be posted here.

Day 30: Your highs and lows for the month.

The high has definitely been my discipline with working out. Two workouts every day. Also, I have learned to knit, I can say a few things in French and have done some creative things, like paining and photography.

The lows were losing my locket and then mostly they are just the inner lows, my depression. Even when things aren’t going wrong, the sadness gets too much and I struggle to get anything done.

Well, that’s the end of the writing challenge. It’s been interesting and, well, challenging. Some thing were easy to write about, some things were very hard. Some things I still don’t know what to write about even though it’s done. I will find a new writing challenge soon.
