Tuesday morning is a hard morning in our house. Hubby doesn’t want to let go of the weekend and is often grumpy. Today was no different, even though it’s his birthday. In fact, because it was his birthday, he wanted to reject the morning even more. I was feeling flat by the time he left for work.
I dragged myself through a workout. I’ve been feeling overly tired and drained for a few days. My chronic pain has been painful. The workout took about 6 minutes longer than normal. At least I got it done.
I spent a lot of the day knitting. I’ve made some good ground on the fingerless glove. I bet I could have this one finished by the end of tomorrow. Both stitches are feeling a bit better and I’m not having the same tension issues as when I started. Improving is improving.
My French refresher went really good. I only made a couple of mistakes. I might almost be ready to learn some new things.

We didn’t do anything exciting for hubby’s birthday. I don’t know if it’s because we’ve been together for 15 years or because we’re ‘middle aged’ but we just don’t make the same big deal that we used to.
Instead, hubby cooked us a delicious steak and chips dinner and we followed that with birthday donuts. Simple but very us.
