Last night I did GUIDED SLEEP MEDITATION for Healing and didn’t fall asleep until after it ended. My mind has been feeling very scattered and I’m finding it hard to turn it off at the end of the day. Luckily the meditation leaves me feeling relaxed no matter what and I ended up having a fairly good night’s sleep.
The day was pretty casual. I did French and Norwegian in the morning. I then procrastinated through the middle of the day because I wasn’t sure how to do today’s Puddles. I Puddled. Then the day was almost over. I had some laughs with a friend. ate an incredibly delicious dinner (see picture) and whipped up my story for The Sunday Whirl: Wordle 444.
“It’s MINE!” Astrid shouted and grabbed at the SPEAR that laid amongst the pile of wood. “It’s not safe anymore. Not when they want to BITE you.” Her voice trailed off as she scanned the shadows that enclosed them. The stunned onlooker turned GREEN.
“When… when who wants to bite you?” The stranger stuttered.
Astrid clutched the spear tighter. “It was their DESIGN. To make them walk the LINE. To have full control and turn them into a super force.”
“You’re not telling me anything. Who wants to bite you?” The stranger knew that Astrid was far from FINE but her lack of detail was becoming infuriating. “Who!?!?”
Astrid stared blankly and continued her confused rambling. “They would LACE their food with a powerful toxin. Some would react poorly and be gone without a TRACE. Others would RELISH the experience and be desperate for the hunt.”
The sound of a branch snapping stopped the conversation dead and a CHILD staggered from the darkness. The small boy stood there with his head tilted to the side. His jaw widened and cracked as his gaze intensified on Astrid and the stranger.
“The CHASE has begun,” the boy screeched into the night.
In today’s Adventures of Arthur Puddles we find him learning how to be a bartender for World Bartender Day. He mixed up a drink for Rosie at the Palm Bar. It’s a cute little pop up bar on the beach.
A relaxed weekend is coming to an end. My only goal for this week is to do better than last week. I hope your week is filled with triumphs, smiles, good news and wonderful memories. Take care.
