Day 323

I went to bed early last night and did GUIDED SLEEP MEDITATION for Healing. I woke a couple of times through the night but it wasn’t a bad sleep. I woke about 6 am and decided to stay up so I could spend the morning with hubby instead of sleeping.

I did French and Norwegian practice before 7 am. It was a great time to practice. There were no distractions and I was getting more right than normal. I can’t imagine getting up that early on purpose to practice though.

Then it was onto art-ing. I can happily say, I did a watercolour. I loosely followed; A Simple Winter Watercolour.

In today’s Adventures of Arthur Puddles we find him spoiling Douglas dog for Love Your Pet Day. He gave Douglas a bubble bath in the sunshine and had a surprise bone waiting on his towel.

Once done with the art-ing I did some housework and a workout. It was a nice way to finish the day.

I hope your day is filled with creativity, happiness and good friends.

I'm on a life changing journey to 40. There will be ups, there will be downs. I'm like a roller coaster but with more agoraphobia.

  1. The expression on Douglas dog’s face is priceless, Tilly! And glad you put the watercolor video link in, have saved it to watch later. Your rendition may be a “simple” watercolor, but it’s strikingly good! I like the clean crisp look of it – nice! 😊

    1. Thanks so much. That’s very kind of you to say. It’s my first attempt at a ‘winter’ scene. I really enjoyed the subtle colours. I always try and link to the reference I used. Hopefully it can be helpful for others learning watercolour. =)

I hope you’re having a great week. Take care.

      1. Amazing how much subtleness there really is in a winter scene; have only done a very few myself; not many worth noting here in Central Texas, lol! But Vermont, the few I’ve seen seem to’ve stuck w/me 😊 And yes, double thanks for the link, very useful! 😊
