Day 310

I listened to A Fairy Blessing & Healing Meditation last night. This was a little harder to follow and I’m sure I fell asleep before the end. I had a rather good sleep and even slept in until Homer dog escaped the watchful eye of hubby. It was another fluffy snuggle morning.

Hubby has been really anxious about all the rain forecast because we have some holes in our roof and a ceiling that will end up dripping if we get too much. He’s been up into and on the roof in the last 24 hours trying to fix what he can. His anxiety really screwed me up today. It put me on edge all day and every last drip I heard had me looking at the ceiling, waiting for disaster to strike.

Disaster didn’t strike but by the late afternoon the ceiling was dripping steadily, in a way that made the water shoot out like it was coming out of a sprinkler. I covered everything in towels, moved anything that shouldn’t get wet out of the way and hoped. UGH!!!

I wasn’t keen on doing much today but still did a whole heap of art-ing. I worked on two watercolour paintings at the same time so I would give them both time enough to dry. I’m still too impatient. I doodled and I Puddled.

I also did French but it was horrible practice. Luckily I’m still going through the lessons for this new level. I need more lessons. Double UGH!

I was inspired by yesterday’s lighthouse painting. I found another lighthouse photo to try. This time the lighthouse can be found in Cornwall, UK.

Still inspired by yesterday’s lighthouse, I headed back to Norway for inspiration. I found this lovely white house, with mountains in the background, in Hovden, Norway.

For today’s doodle I drew donuts. I probably should have done a self portrait seeing I was ‘distracted’ all day. I almost like these donuts.

In today’s Adventures of Arthur Puddles we find him having fun with bubble gum for National Bubble Gum day. It was messy.

Even though it was an art productive day, the day just felt too stressful and I feel a whole world of UGH. I wish it was time for bed.

I hope your tomorrow is filled with happiness, smiles, sunshine and creativity. Have a great day.

I'm on a life changing journey to 40. There will be ups, there will be downs. I'm like a roller coaster but with more agoraphobia.

  1. I’m glad 2 hear you all r getting plenty of rain- in what I think is supposed to b the dry season- unfortunately if you have a leaky roof it isn’t all that welcome. 😕

    1. I can put up with a few drips and leaks knowing that the rain has really helped out with the fires. Today should be the last day of heavy rain though. Fingers crossed the roof survives another downpour! xD

Hope you have a fantastic weekend. =)

    1. Most definitely. It needed repairing before we moved in. (This was my childhood home which I inherited a few years ago.) Sadly we don’t have the money for major renovations, so hubby is going to do as much fixing up that he can.

I hope you and your family have a fantastic weekend. Take care. =)
