Day 292

I think I listened to a different meditation last night and fell asleep very quickly. It’s all a bit of a blur. I’ve been getting to bed a bit too late and getting relaxed too quickly. Being relaxed and getting sleep is definitely not a bad thing, I just want to be a little more in the meditation before passing out.

Today is the last day of the weekend and hubby will not be bouncing off to work tomorrow. He has another week off. The way his schedule works out and by working on Saturday still, he’s ended up with three weeks off. We’ve both decided on a more productive week. I feel like whatever this sickness was that has been following me all week has eased up enough for me to get back to a normal schedule.

New week means a new happy list. It’s sorta like a to do list but a list of things that would make me feel happier if I got them done. I’m focusing mainly on art-ing, learning and self care. I’m going to win this week.

  1. Meditate – 5 days
  2. 10 minute doodle – 5 days
  3. Watercolour – 3 days
  4. Art lesson – 5 days
  5. Write meal plan
  6. Use face mask – 1 day
  7. Eat breakfast – 5 days
  8. Be in bed before midnight – 3 days
  9. Workout – 5 days
  10. Smile for no reason for 10 minutes – 5 days

I then indulged in a day of relaxing with a little Puddles adventure et un petit Francais. While I indulged hubby went to get me a couple of art supplies including some new Sharpies. It’s nice to have a handful of new colours.

In today’s Adventures of Arthur Puddles we find him having a picnic in the park with his friend Rosie for Penguin Awareness Day. They made a sign so everybody would know that they are penguins. They’re sharing a cheese sandwich because it’s National Cheese Lovers Day.
