Today I was feeling neutral. I woke up late again and spent too long staring over a cup of coffee but that didn’t bother me. I decided I didn’t feel like working out, so I wasn’t going to. I was okay with that too.
I was determined to be patient while using watercolours for the Doodlewash – October 2019 prompt; 7. Apple. It took hours to do and for the most part I was patient to let the water dry. I used this apple reference.

While I was taking my time on the watercolour, I also worked on the Inktober prompt; 10. Pattern. I used this mehndi reference.

I had time to do the Inktober 2019 prompt; 11. Snow, aswell. I decided to find someone wearing a ski mask as I felt this would best portray snow. Hubby thought it was an astronaut. If it is an astronaut, it’s on a snow covered planet. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.

I had some pretty bad pain in the afternoon, so I distracted myself with some baking. I made spinach and ricotta pinwheels. They were very tasty. One day I’ll write some recipes to share.

I’m feeling pretty okay with what I got done today. I’m almost feeling back to normal. I finished the day with a face full of French.
I hope your day has been full of sunshine, smiles and the smells of baking.

I really love the pattern on the hand. I am amazed that people can do that on a real hand with ink. It takes so much control to do and I was following my pencil sketch closely. Another thing I’ll be practising. ^^
I am planning on writing a few of my fave recipes down. The pinwheels are at the top of the list.
I hope you and your family are having a magnificent weekend. =)

Thank so much. ^^ The watercolour process is lengthy but it’s so much fun seeing the colour grow as you add layer after layer. I still need to be a bit more patient and let layers dry properly before trying to continue. xD

The pastries were delicious. ^^ I was pretty happy with how the apple turned out. I’m enjoying doing fruit with watercolours.
