5.30 am was the start of the day and I object. It was far too early to be awake but I knew there was no way I would get back to sleep. I sat. I stared. I contemplated Inktober and Doodlewash (but not long enough to realise I could have done them together.) Then I played WoW until about 9 am when i knew I had to be the day.
It was time for a workout and my body said, I OBJECT. (Today is proudly sponsored by the words… I object.) Everything was aching before I had even started, so I started anyways. There were almost tears but I fought on like a champ and we got through the work out in 24 minutes.
The first stop on the creative train was the Doodlewash – October 2019 prompt; 1. Onions. I found a picture of red onions to reference. I used watercolour pencils.

The next stop was the Inktober 2019 prompt; 1. Ring. I have already seen some aaaaamazing sketches for this prompt. Some people have used the prompt in ways I couldn’t even imagine. I was feeling intimidated by working with ink, so I went for something very simple. A ring of flowers… that may or may not be wreath like. It’s a ring, I swear.

The last stop on the sketching train was the Inktober prompt; 2. Mindless. I really didn’t know where to go with this prompt but had an urge to do a zombie. When I finally Googled ‘mindless zombie, I found there was a NPC in WoW with the same name. So, I did that.

The sketching took up a big chunk of the day. Once I was done, I was done. My early morning had caught up with me and I had to crawl back into bed for a nap. It sure was a lovely nap followed by an equally lovely dinner.

Tomorrow I’ll hopefully get caught up on this month’s challenges, get some guitar practice in and write a food plan for the upcoming week.
I hope you have had a delicious day filled with things to nourish your mind, body and soul.

It may have been a tie- after I wrote that I varnished the thread forests and did “The Regime” (my workout- which I’ve really been slacking on lately) 🙂

‘The Regime’ sounds like it’s intense. What sort of things do you do in that workout?

It is- I called it that because I figured it sounds ominous enough that I would think I’d get in trouble if I didn’t do it! The Regime consists of all the basic yoga stretches, 60 push ups, 120 crunches (basic and upside down bicycle crunches)- running in place- jumping jacks – minor weight lifting- I think that covers it. I try and do the full regime 3 times a week- and an abridged version all other nights.

That sounds like a tough workout. I bet you feel good after it though. Hope you’re having a great weekend. =)
