Day 171

Today was a blissfully uninspired day. I have pushed myself pretty hard this week to do things even when I didn’t want to do them. Today I didn’t want to do them and I didn’t want to push myself to do them. There was no French. There was no drawing.

I did work on a couple of items from my Happy List, including starting a new knitting project. Of course I made a handful of mistakes that mean I will have to start again but… I learned some valuable lessons, so I guess that makes it okay.

Tomorrow is an official rest and relaxation day. Then when Monday rolls around it’s back to housework and maybe even a little gardening. It’s spring now and we have seeds that need planting.

I hope your weekend is filled with smiles, sunshine, singing and something delicious.

I'm on a life changing journey to 40. There will be ups, there will be downs. I'm like a roller coaster but with more agoraphobia.

  1. I’ve just started following you as my blogging friend Elaine recommended your blog 🙂
I’m learning more and more there are days to push yourself, and days to not, to just rest and recuperate and do something you enjoy. I hope you can do just that over the weekend!

    1. Thanks for stopping by. ^^ Great to know you found the blog via Elaine. Elaine is so helpful and encouraging.

You are right. It’s important to have rest days. I’m trying so hard to fill my days with as much as I can that sometimes I feel bad about having rest days. It’s nice to be reminded that it really is okay.

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend filled with big smiles. =) Take care.

    1. Ick! It should start cooling off for you soon. xD Then I’ll be jealous of your lovely wintery days. Does it snow where you are?

We’ve had a mild winter and it doesn’t snow here. Spring has started pretty humid. It should be great for the garden. xD

      Happy Sunday!!

      1. Thanks- and yes it does- usually it doesn’t stick around very long though. I have the feeling we are going to go straight from this Juli- esque heat to mid- janvier esque cold.
