It was such a slow start to the day after a pretty sleepless night. I went to bed just after midnight and woke up at exactly 4.45 am. That would have been the time hubby was leaving for the airport if wifey’s first attempt at the trip had of worked. I think because I knew she should be here today; I felt sulky.
Hubby wandered off to work and I…. sat here doing nothing. I really couldn’t get my day started. Eventually I showered and picked up a pencil for today’s Doodlewash – August 2019 drawing prompts; 8. Birds + 23. Pets.
I was lucky that these two prompts worked together well and took inspiration from yesterday’s train drawing. I imagined a girl sitting on a suitcase, with pets, waiting for a train. I had the most trouble with the right foot and the face. I couldn’t work out the right perspective for either. I’m looking forward to wifey being here so I can snap some pose photos.
With the drawing and half the day done, I decided it was time to workout. I wasn’t feeling great when I started and I was feeling worse by the time it ended. I think the stress pain has kicked in, in a big way. Muscles ache. My head aches. My soul aches. Bleh.
I gave into an afternoon nap pretty quickly and it seemed to help a little bit. I still feel pretty fatigued and apparently, I also sound it.
Until wifey gets here the only things I’m going to focus on are drawing and sleeping…..and some last minute housework.
