Today was a rest day. Woo! It’s the one day a week where I can do nothing and feel good about it.

Gotta say, I must be growing up because spending a day playing World of Warcraft doesn’t have the same appeal that it did this time last year.
During the afternoon I did some French lessons on Duolingo . I’ve just started learning greetings. I’m having some trouble remembering them but I’m sure in a few days time they’ll seem as easy as une femme et une fille. Which translated means a woman and a girl. That was one of the first things I learned.
I also did some knitting. I added two more colour blocks and decided to finish my multi-coloured scarf. As it turns out, it had blown out a considerable amount. I think (my terrible memory isn’t being helpful) I cast on 20 loops. I now have 30ish loops. Could be more, could be less. It’s all good practice.
I watched a video on how to do the purl stitch. I haven’t tried it yet but I feel like I’m going to be able to pick it up quickly. Once I know that and give it a little practice, I’ll pick a project that uses both stitches but a project that is very easy.
Tomorrow the top priority is finding my locket. Once that is done, it’ll be normal house work, organising and hopefully something a little creative.
Here’s Day 27 of the writing challenge. If you’d like to see the full challenge details, click here. All 30 days will be posted here.
Day 27: Conversely, write about something that is kicking ass right now.
The biggest change I’ve made so far is working out. I’ve been disciplined (not motivated) and I feel I am kicking ass. This is the longest I’ve stuck to a workout schedule and I’m not going to stop. This isn’t just a habit, it’s a lifestyle.
