I slept in today. It was a forced sleep in. No matter how many times my body prodded me to wake up, I simply turned over and dozed back off. I got up a little before hubby left and got about my day.
I did my double workout, with the maximum amount of slumping in between sets. I’m really looking forward to a rest day tomorrow.
After that I took a picture for the Let’s Do 52 – 52 Week Photo Challenge. This week I had to capture something ‘scattered’. Seeing I wasn’t going to take a picture of my brain, I was inspired by one nights dinner; Indonesian Sticky Mince & Rice. I scattered some rice over the table, grabbed a bowl and snapped this picture. I love the vibrant red of the chilli. Yum!
I spent the rest of the afternoon practising knitting. I worked with two colours. I did 5 rows in white, then 5 in yellow and repeated that a few times. The last colour block felt really good and smooth…and looked that way too. I’m going to add some more to it tomorrow. This video by Productive Life showed me How To Knit A Multi-Colours Scarf.
Day 19: Discuss your first love.
When we met, he had just lost his nephew on Christmas Eve. I was a pleasant distraction for him. I made the hurty bits hurt less. Once he stopped being sad, he stopped needing me. That’s when it slowly started to change.
Meanwhile, I had fallen head over heels and I did whatever I could to make sure we spent time together.
We were together a year, laughing, loving and enjoying each other. Then it was over. He had moved on to someone else and I was heartbroken.
